The Annual Book Sale 2024/25 was held at the National Catechetical and Biblical Centre, Colombo, offering a vibrant space for catechists, teachers, and families to discover and obtain faith-based resources at concessionary rates.
The event was ceremonially inaugurated by Rt. Rev. Dr. Norbert Andradi, O.M.I., Bishop of Anuradhapura, whose presence and words of encouragement added spiritual depth to the occasion. The month-long sale attracted visitors from every corner of the island, featuring a rich collection of Bibles, catechetical books, teaching aids, devotional materials, and gift items for parish and Sunday School activities.
Organized by the National Office Staff of the Centre, the initiative successfully promoted reading and strengthened collaboration between diocesan catechetical networks and the National Centre. Visitors expressed heartfelt appreciation for the opportunity to access high-quality materials that support catechetical and biblical education.
The Annual Book Sale not only enhanced awareness of locally produced publications but also reaffirmed the Centre’s mission to nurture faith formation through accessible, meaningful, and inspiring resources.
